Robot cell Roboblast
Project planning for a compact robot cell solution came into existence in collaboration with with a specialised company.
The Roboblast concept was developed for processing components systematically and in the smallest possible space.
The robot built into the cell serves as a handling and motion system. A freely selectable feed system moves the components to a defined unloading position via component carries.
The robot removes the components individually and then executes the desired blast movement. The system features a pneumatic double door system to minimise the emission of blasting material. The abrasion-proof rubber of the double door system was tested specifically for this purpose and further protecs the robot head. After blasting, the component is moved to the identical carrier position and the cycle starts over again.
