Soft, angular blasting mediums
Although metals often require blasting material of a similar composition, the plastics industry and mould making uses soft, angular blasting material such as thermoset or vegetal blasting material (nutshell granule). Cleaning is non-abrasive, thus very gentle on the base material.
Applications:
- Cleaning plastic coatings on augers & compounding elements
- Removing deposits in mould making
- Removing soot deposit in combustion engines etc.
